The existing house, marked by the passing of the years and the memories recorded in the clients, closed in itself a set of symbolisms, including its prime location: near the sea shoreline of Leça da Palmeira in northern Portugal, is the most important to highlight. The challenge was to meet the needs of the envisioned program, which resulted in the creation of another upper floor where we developed the private housing area with a privileged view to the horizon, leaving the lower floor dedicated to social housing areas.
